According to news on December 25, the VitaDAO community launched a new proposal and planned to airdrop 6.9 million BIO tokens from the total allocation of 21 million BIO tokens it received to the community. According to the proposal, the airdrop will adopt a tiered system, of which 80% (5.52 million BIO) will be allocated to VITA holders and 20% (1.38 million BIO) to VITAIPT holders. The airdrop application period is scheduled from January to March 2025. This move aims to strengthen the connection between BIO and the VitaDAO community and increase governance participation.
