Golden Finance reported that the crypto payment platform MoonPay announced that it had obtained a money transfer license (Money Transmitter License) from the Texas Department of Banking. Starting today, Texas users can purchase 64 cryptocurrencies through Venmo and PayPal. According to statistics, more than one-fifth of the voting-age population in Texas holds cryptocurrency. MoonPay plans to expand its services in 2025 to allow Texas residents to sell cryptocurrencies including BTC, ETH and SOL. Currently, MoonPay has obtained money transfer licenses from 45 states in the United States.
