According to the Binance official announcement, the Binance contract will adjust the settlement frequency of the USDⓈ-MORCAUSDT perpetual contract from once every 4 hours to once every 2 hours starting from 08:00 on April 12, 2025 (UTC). The announcement also stated that in order to prevent extreme market volatility risks, the Binance contract may take additional protective measures without further notice, including but not limited to adjusting the maximum leverage value, holding value, margin maintenance rate at all levels, updating capital rates and changing the composition of the price index.
