Golden Finance reported that Nick Rees, senior foreign exchange market analyst at Monex Europe, said that the Federal Reserve’s latest interest rate decision marks the beginning of the FOMC’s extension of the pause period in interest rate cuts, although it is too early to say this clearly. We now expect the Fed to remain on hold until at least the first half of 2025. If correct, this should support U.S. dollar upside in the coming months.
