Golden Finance reported that the decentralized stablecoin protocol Usual cooperated with blockchain security company Sherlock to launch a vulnerability bounty program, offering a reward of $16 million to find key vulnerabilities in the code base. The bonus exceeds the previous bonuses set by Uniswap ($15.5 million), LayerZero Labs ($15 million) and Wormhole ($10 million).
The Usual code base has undergone 20 audits, including the most recent Sherlock audit contest, but no vulnerabilities were found at mid- or higher levels. Only loopholes identified as critical are eligible for the highest reward. Usual currently manages over $880 million in total lock-in value (TVL).
