In order to comply with the Crypto Assets Market Supervision Agency (MiCA), Binance has stopped offering spot trading pairs with Tether's USDt in the European Economic Area (EEA). Users who are currently removed from Binance but within the EEA can still keep the affected tokens and trade in perpetual contracts.
According to Binance's previous announcement, spot trading pairs of tokens that do not meet MiCA standards will be removed by March 31, which meets the local requirements for the removal of such tokens by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
