Golden Finance reported that OpenAI said on Monday it will raise $40 billion in a new round of financing led by SoftBank Group, valued at $300 billion, to promote artificial intelligence research, expand computing infrastructure and enhance its artificial intelligence tools. The company said it hopes to provide increasingly powerful tools for 500 million people using ChatGPT every week.
