Senior investigators in the intelligence and economic crime department of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have been accused of allegedly misappropriating more than $21 million in crypto assets during the investigation of cryptocurrency exchange Cryptoland, Golden Finance reported. Two senior officials of the IRGC Economic Intelligence Department, Mehdi Hajipour and Mehdi Badi, were the main planners of the plan, according to court documents reviewed by Iran International Television. Blockchain evidence shows that Hajipour-controlled wallets alone process tokens worth more than $21 million.
