Golden Finance reported that Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, said the lawsuit against Galaxy Digital by the New York Attorney General (NAYG) was a "legal war" while another cryptocurrency executive said the law was so special that he had to check it on ChatGPT.
The recent legal lawsuit filed by the New York Attorney General (NAYG) against Galaxy Digital, involving its promotional relationship with the now-crashed cryptocurrency Terra (LUNA), is unfair and an abuse of the legal system, said Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital. "This is pure legal warfare, because a little-known but extremely dangerous New York law, the Martin Act," Scaramucci said on the X platform on March 28.
"The law does not require proof of intent, thus setting a very low standard of proof that could open the door to such abuse. It shouldn't exist at all," he said.
