Golden Finance reported that the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the seizure of about $200,000 in cryptocurrency as part of a campaign to crack down on Hamas' financing network. The funding was USDT and originated from wallets related to Hamas and its affiliated organizations, DOJ noted. Since October 2024, the addresses have received over $1.5 million in cryptocurrency, behind which is an organized fundraising campaign. Funds are transferred to a main wallet and transferred through multiple exchanges and over-the-counter traders in an attempt to conceal the flow of funds.
