CNBC issued a statement saying that this represents the end of the SEC's years of crusade against the cryptocurrency industry. The Ripple case may become the last chapter of the related lawsuit because the case was filed on the last day of former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton's tenure. CNBC listed that previous lawsuits or investigations by Coinbase, Kraken, Robinhood, Binance and OpenSea have been revoked, resolved or shelved.
