According to news on December 19, Europol cooperated with law enforcement agencies in six countries to dismantle an international drug trafficking group that used cryptocurrency. Nine suspects were arrested in this operation. During the operation, valuables including gold and luxury goods, 35,000 euros in cash and 25 million euros in cryptocurrency, equivalent to $26.23 million, were seized. The total value of the seized assets was €27 million, equivalent to US$28.33 million.
