According to Golden Finance, the US State Department issued a statement saying that US Secretary of State Rubio spoke with British Foreign Secretary Rami on a phone call to discuss the Ukraine leaders summit convened by the UK on March 2. Rubio thanked the UK for its role in encouraging Europe to provide its own defense and promote peace in Ukraine. In addition, Rubio confirmed that the United States is ready to end the Russian-Ukrainian conflict through negotiations and will continue to cooperate with the United Kingdom to promote peace in Ukraine.
