On March 3, Christine Kim, vice president of research at Galaxy Digital, posted on X platform: "The latest weekend update on the status of the Ethereum Holesky testnet: Developers meet on Friday to coordinate mass punishment measures and accelerate the exit of inactive validators. But it seems that there are insufficient active validators on the testnet, and developers lack confidence in the advancement plan. Therefore, they decided to give more time on the weekend to get more active validators to join Holesky and coordinate mass punishment actions at the latest Monday. If you are running Holesky validator and have not tried to get it back online, do so as soon as possible and delete your slashing protected database. Also, a reminder that during the Holesky incident, another vulnerability affecting Geth and Nethermind clients was reported through the Pectra audit contest. Please note that this vulnerability has nothing to do with the misconfiguration of the deposit contract address. ”
