According to Sonic SVM announcement, the Layer 2 expansion network Mobius main network based on Solana virtual machine (SVM) was officially launched, aiming to improve the scalability of Solana and provide an exclusive computing layer for high-frequency applications such as DeFi and GameFi. In addition, Sonic SVM launched a mainnet reward program with a total of 2.4 million SONIC and a $1 million hackathon to encourage developers to deploy applications on Mobius. The first season of Mobius has been launched and will last until April 10. Developers and users can enter the Sonic SVM ecosystem to experience on-chain games and DeFi applications, and earn rewards.
