According to the latest report from security service platform Immunefi, the stolen funds in the cryptocurrency industry surged in February due to the record-breaking Bybit hacking attacks, nine hacking incidents caused a total of US$1.53 billion in losses, a 20-fold increase from the previous month. The figure is 18 times higher than in February 2024, when the registered losses were $81.6 million; losses so far this year reached $1.6 billion, an 8 times higher than the same period last year.
