According to Golden Finance, Jeremy Allaire, CEO of stablecoin issuer Circle, said in an interview with Bloomberg that digital tokens pegged to the US should be mandatory for registration and operation in the United States. Allaire believes that non-U.S. stablecoin providers should not be allowed to circumvent U.S. regulations while still providing services to U.S. customers.
