Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Tuesday showed that U.S. President Trump's approval rating has remained stable over the past week, with 44% of respondents recognizing his performance in the first month of his tenure as a Reuters/Ipsos poll . The investigation found that even though Trump fired tens of thousands of federal workers and the U.S. attitude towards the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has reversed, Americans' views on him have basically remained unchanged. The survey shows that 50% of people are not satisfied with his work, slightly lower than 51% of the previous week, with a change of within the error range of plus or minus 3 percentage points. So far, the public's approval rating for Trump's work performance is still higher than most of his first term from 2017 to 2021. An online poll of 1,029 U.S. adults last Friday to Sunday also showed that 50% of respondents supported Trump's approach to immigration, up from 47% the previous week. Another 42% said they did not support his immigration policy. (Jin Shi)
