Golden Finance reported that on February 25 local time, 21 staff members resigned from the "Government Efficiency Department" led by Elon Musk, saying they refused to use their technical expertise to "dismantle key public services." The staff said in a joint resignation letter that many of the people Musk recruited to help him cut the size of the federal government were "political fantasies" and did not have the skills or experience needed to complete the work tasks.
