Golden Finance reported that on February 23 local time, US State Department officials told its employees not to respond immediately to an email from Musk, head of the U.S. government efficiency department, to "list what was done in the past week." On the same day, the US Department of Defense also issued a statement saying that Department of Defense personnel may have received an email from the U.S. Personnel Administration requesting "What did you do last week." In response, the Ministry of Defense said that the Ministry of Defense is responsible for reviewing the performance of its personnel and will conduct any reviews based on its own procedures. If necessary, the Department of Defense will coordinate the emails received by employees. Currently, the Department of Defense requires employees to suspend any responses to the email. FBI Director Cash Patel also urged his employees not to respond to emails sent by the U.S. Personnel Administration to federal government staff for the time being. (Jin Shi)
