Golden Finance reported that mETH Protocol released a security incident update on Bybit, which disclosed that a security accident in Bybit caused mETH and cmETH to be withdrawn from the exchange without authorization, including three transactions through DEX to exchange 8,000 mETH into ETH, through mETH Protoc Initiate 15,000 cmETH withdrawals but are not successfully completed, Mantle or mETH Protocol has no risk and reduces cmETH liquidity on Mantle Network L2 and blacklists the attacker's wallet address, thus preventing further cmETH transfers or within the protocol The interaction did not eventually cause unauthorized cmETH exit, the contract has been restored and the operation has returned to normal.
