On February 22, BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes posted a post on X platform to question Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin about the stolen incident of Bybit: "Will you support rolling back Ethereum to help Bybit?" Hayes added: “As an ETH giant whale holder, I think ETH is no longer a currency after the DAO hacker hard fork in 2016. If the community wants to do this again, I will support it because we are already in 2016 Year voted against immutability, why not do it again?” He further pointed out: “No one raises questions about DeFi operations on CZ’s computers (referring to BNBs), why not question ETH (that is, Vitalik Buterin’s computers)?”
