Golden Finance reported that U.S. consumers' expectations for long-term inflation have risen to their highest level in 30 years, and respondents are worried that Trump's tariff hikes will lead to price increases. According to a Consumer Confidence Survey at the University of Michigan, consumers expect prices to rise at a rate of 3.5% per year in the next five to ten years, the highest level since 1995 in Bloomberg compiled data.
