According to Golden Finance, Bybit posted on X platform, "Bybit detected unauthorized activities involving one of our ETH cold wallets. At the time of the incident, our ETH multi-signature cold wallet was transferring money to our hot wallets. Unfortunately, the transaction is manipulated through a complex attack that masks the signature interface, displays the correct address, and changes the underlying smart contract logic. As a result, the attacker can control the affected ETH cold wallet and transfer its assets to an unknown address. Our security team is actively investigating this incident with leading blockchain forensic experts and partners. Any team with blockchain analytics and fund recovery expertise and who can assist in tracking these assets is welcome to work with us. We want to assure users and partners that all other Bybit cold wallets are absolutely secure. All customer funds are safe and our operations are going on as usual without interruption.
