Golden Finance reported that according to Reuters, Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided a cryptocurrency fraud center in Lagos on December 10 and arrested 792 suspects, including 148 Chinese citizens and 40 Philippine citizens. The group mainly targets North American and European users with its scams, and once victims take the bait, they are forced to transfer funds for fake cryptocurrency schemes and other non-existent projects.
