According to Cointelegraph, Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), said at the CPAC Conservative Movement Conference held in Washington, DC that the United States should establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve and recommend purchasing 20% of the Bitcoin network share.
Michael Saylor pointed out that at current prices, 20% of Bitcoin circulating supply is about 4 million, worth about $392 billion. He believes that if the United States holds 4-6 million Bitcoins, it will help repay the Treasury bonds. In comparison, the U.S. strategic oil reserves are about 395 million barrels and are valued at only $29 billion.
