Golden Finance reported that NFT game project Illuvium was reorganized and layoffs due to poor management, and some core contributors chose to reduce salaries or receive salaries in the form of tokens. Last year, Illuvium released three interrelated games: Overworld, Arena and Zero, covering different game types, and the layoffs happened that time. Despite the grand vision of Illuvium, the community’s response after years of development was not very positive. In December, co-founder Kieran Warwick admitted that “concerns” about the gameplay of the series are justified and things must change. These include Illuvium's "significantly" reduction in costs by adjusting such as setting the salary cap to $85,000. But this week, Warwick said a bigger cut must be made.
