Golden Finance reported that on February 20 local time, District Judge Christopher Cooper of the Federal Court of Washington, DC ruled that the Trump administration can continue to fire federal government employees on a large scale, rejecting the ban on the union organization. Trump has cut requests from about 2.3 million federal employees sharply. It is reported that the ruling on that day is temporary and the lawsuit is still in progress. Earlier, the U.S. Treasury Department Employees Union and four other unions filed a lawsuit last week to prevent the government from firing hundreds of thousands of federal employees and offering buyout plans to employees who voluntarily resigned.
