Golden Finance reported that according to Cointelegraph, an Arizona man was suspected of posing as an Uber driver and stealing $300,000 in cryptocurrency. The Scottsdale Police Department alleges that Nuruhussein Hussein twice posed as an Uber driver for passengers' bookings in March and again in October and talked to them by name, luring victims into waiting outside the W Hotel in Scottsdale. After getting on the bus, Nuruhussein Hussein asked to borrow the passenger's cell phone, which he then used to access Coinbase accounts and make cryptocurrency transfers. Nuruhussein Hussein is due back in court on December 18.
