Golden Finance reported that Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. hired Point72 Chief Financial Officer Anthony Paquette as chief financial officer, according to a person familiar with the matter. Paquette served as chief financial officer of Steven Cohen's asset management firm Point72 for more than four years. Prior to that, he served as business unit head at fintech company SoFi and as a managing director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Anthony Paquette will move to a senior adviser role at Galaxy starting in January, according to the person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the appointment has not been made public.
