Golden Finance reported that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is increasing the seizure of Bitcoin ASIC miners. In addition to Bitmain, MicroBT and Canaan equipment are also included in the seizure list. CBP seized Bitmain Antminer S21 and T21 mining machines last year, suspected that it contains AI chips from restricted chipmaker Sophgo. The seizure is subject to regulation 19 USC 1595a(c)(2)(A) and involves unauthorized communication equipment and equipment not certified by the FCC.
