According to The Block, Offchain Labs mainnet released the Arbitrum BoLD protocol to achieve license-free verification. After approval of the governance voting, BoLD is now available on the Arbitrum chain, One and Nova. The system replaces previously whitelisted validators with permissionless mechanisms, allowing anyone interested in cybersecurity to participate.
